Born in a small traditional village of Viera, Torc became a traveler at a young age; he and his father were expelled from the village on the discovery his father was not following tradition. Wandering together, his father taught him to survive, only to admit he regretted what he'd done. His father, having taught him life alone, now wanted to return to their home. Torc, angry at those who had rejected them, insisted they stay wanderers; his father disagreed, and left in the night.

Left alone in the world, Torc was wont to wander yet. With no sign of his family, no memory of the way home, and no clue where to begin, Torc made wandering his way and his will; he began taking on odd jobs around larger cities, practicing his skills and learning what he could. Time and travel proved cruel, though; as no path lead back to his lost family, he lost hope.

His life changed when he stepped in to protect and save adventurers who'd stumbled astray of a local wolf pack. The adventurers and he ended up snowed in a cave while they recovered, and the travelers whittled away at his closed-off spirit until he not only heard what they spoke of, but listened. A new hope sparked alight in his breast. He could not go home again, but perhaps a new goal could be acheived, if he could settle on one.For now, he wanders on, but something, someday, could help him find home again....perhaps.

Hunter by Day...

Torc is a hireable hunter, tracker, and mercenary; he makes his living offering his services to escort others to safety or retrieve targets. Offering him work is a sure way to start a conversation. He might even take on a shadier contract, if the gil is good...

Torc has recently taken up work at the Crimson Door, a biweekly venue hosted out of Empyreum. A surefire time he'll be amongst others, there's no better time to catch him consistently. Come get to know him, enjoy some drinks and food, and make an evening of it.
